Check In: London calling – cozy days in the heart of Great Britain’s capital

London is always worth a visit and you can find new spots every time you’re around. Despite the fact that I had the chance to fluctuate between Cologne and London in 2016, I just newly discovered the city in November.

This time it was part of a business trip, ‚cause me and Kevin, who was traveling with me, were two of a small group from Germany who were invited for the launch of the upcoming new fragrance ‚Artisan Pure‘ by John Varvatos. Besides that we had some of the best days this year, so big shoutout to the whole crew and special thanks to our hotel – Trafalgar St James.

COZINESS TO THE FULLEST

What can I say? I mean five stars is a thing and if you’ve ever been to a hotel like this you know what I’m writing about. Next to Trafalgar Square and just 10 minutes by walk to some of the most touristic spots in London, the Westminster area and the London Eye. With different types of rooms as you can see below, it’s the perfect hotel if you’re looking for modern British vibes. It couldn’t get any more comfortable as I had one of the biggest rooms including a king size bed. Pure heaven!

  • Trafalgar queen room: Up to two guests, 28 square meters in size, one queen bed
  • Trafalgar king room: Up to two guests, 30 square meters in size, one king bed
  • St. James family room: Up to four guests (two adults, two children), 35 square meters in size, one king bed and one sofa bed
  • St. James king room: Up to two guests, 35 square meters in size, one king bed

DINE LIKE THE QUEEN

Specially in the morning you’ll find everything your heart desires. With an extensive range of food and drinks you have the chance to start your day right and later in the evening cocktails, beer or wine can be enjoyed in the bar with additional music.

The kitchen celebrates the finest, freshest, and where possible, local ingredients, with flavors that nod to the Mediterranean. Classic dishes come with subtle updates, while the wine list reflects the rich cultural melting pot of London. Elegant dining tables, convivial banquettes and tall stools for bar-side gatherings provide a welcoming array of options for guests to sit, sip a cocktail, eat or simply watch the world go by.

But to be honest the best things is definitely the St. James Rooftop. A roof top bar with an breathtaking view across one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.

Well, I’ll be back soon to call this place home for some days! Find more here: trafalgarstjames.com
